We are a small, independent dealership located on the Great South Plains in Lubbock, TX.  We stock and sell a wide range of vehicles.  The vehicles we offer for sale are typically 2000 model or newer and mileage ranges from 15,000 to 125,000.  All of our vehicles are thoroughly researched using AutoCheck®, inspected for mechanical reliability and expertly detailed to ensure your satisfaction.  In addition, we keep our expenses down so we can sell our vehicles at the right price, every time!

Who can buy?

We sell our vehicles to individuals and organizations all over this great nation.  Typically, we sell to individuals that are pre-approved for financing at their local bank or credit union or who pay for the vehicle with cash or a cashier’s check.  We do, however, have relationships with many national lenders and can accommodate those that need us to arrange financing for them.  (Click here to apply for financing)  Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions about any vehicle offered by us or our various financing options.  We are here to help!

Where is Plains Choice Auto Group, LLC located?

We are located at 4301 Avenue Q in Lubbock, TX.  Our vehicles are stored on our lot or in our secure warehouse.

Where do the vehicles you sell come from?

We acquire our vehicles from a wide range of sources.  We may purchase a vehicle from an individual, a wholesaler, an auction (local or national) or another dealership.  Often times, we purchase hard to find inventory from a distant location and ship it here for resale.

Do you have all titles on hand for the vehicles you sell?

We do not always have the title for the vehicles we list for sale.  Titles may be in transit from banks, credit unions, other dealerships or the state in which we purchased it.  We are a licensed and bonded dealer and guarantee clear titles on all vehicles sold.  If disposition of title is of vital importance to you, please call us at (877)749-2611 prior to finalizing the sale to ensure that the title is in our possession.  If the title is not in our possession, we will inform you of the status.

What fees can I expect to pay in addition to the sale price?

Additional charges may include taxes, shipping and document fees.  These fees, with the exception of the document fee, are entirely based upon the structure of the deal and how you choose to ship, title and register the vehicle you buy.  In Texas, buyers are required to pay 6.25% (sales) & .02% (vehicle inventory) of the actual sales price as a tax to the state.  In addition, Texas buyers are required to pay a $28.00 title fee, a $5.00 license fee and any applicable inspection and registration fees.  These fees are dependent upon the county in which the buyer wishes to register the vehicle.  Out of state buyers are required to title the vehicle in the county and state in which they reside.  We are knowledgeable about motor vehicle registration in all 50 U.S. states and can provide you with any information you need.  If the buyer wishes for us to arrange shipping on the vehicle, there will be a shipping charge added to the balance due.  For out-of-state residents, the entire balance due is required to be paid prior to the pick-up or shipping of the vehicle.  Other than the required fees mentioned above, there are no additional fees charged to you without prior disclosure, explanation and acceptance.

Can you ship the vehicle to me?

Yes, we can ship vehicles anywhere in the continental United States, as well as internationally.  We will be more than happy to handle the logistical aspects of shipping your vehicle to you.  For a shipping quote, please call us at (877)749-2611 or send an e-mail containing the residence or business you want the vehicle shipped to, along with the proper zip code to: shipping@pcautogroup.com and we will promptly reply to you with the quote.  The charges, unless COD, will be added to the balance due on the vehicle. 

There are several options available for shipping your vehicle:

Open Carrier 
This is the most economical way to ship a vehicle.  The vehicle is placed on an open-top trailer along with other vehicles and sent on its way.  While in transit, the vehicle is subject to weather and standard road damage.  Typical delivery time is 7-14 days. 

Enclosed Carrier
Vehicles transported in this manner are carried in an enclosed container.  The vehicle is not subject to weather or road damage while in transport.  This method is recommended for higher value vehicles.  Typical delivery time is 7-14 days.

Insurance
All vehicles in transit are covered by the transit company’s insurance.  Upon arrival, please ensure that there are no damages to the vehicle that may have been caused by the transporter.

Plains Choice Auto Group, LLC does not warrant or guarantee delivery time or delivery condition.  In addition, we assume no responsibility for any vehicle while in transit.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept cashier checks in US funds drawn on US banks.  We also accept funds from your local bank or credit union in the manner of their preference.  If we arrange financing for you, or work with your local bank or credit union, we will handle the funds and their disposition.

I do not live in Texas, how do I buy a vehicle if I am paying cash?

We sell and ship vehicles all over the United States.  In addition, we are familiar with titling and registration procedures in all 50 states.

 If you purchase a vehicle from us, pay cash and reside in a state other than Texas, your transaction will go something like this:

1.  You contact us and inform us of your intent to purchase the vehicle.  If purchased through E-bay, make the required deposit.
2. We contact you to verify validity and finalize the transaction.  Any negotiations will take place at this point.
3. You send certified funds for the remaining balance plus any shipping charges via FedEx or UPS.
4. When we receive and verify your funds, we will ready the vehicle for shipping and arrange pick-up.
5. We send you all required paperwork with an explanation of how to complete the paperwork and return.  This paperwork must be returned to us ASAP.
6. When we receive the signed paperwork, we send all title paperwork to you.
7. Vehicle will arrive at your destination.
8. Transaction Complete!

I do not live in Texas, how do I buy a vehicle if I am getting financing from my bank?

If you purchase a vehicle from us, reside in a state other than Texas and get financing from your bank or credit union, your transaction will go something like this:

1.  You contact us and inform us of your intent to purchase the vehicle.  If purchased through E-bay, make the required deposit.
2. We contact you to get your banking information, verify validity and finalize the transaction.  Any negotiations will take place at this point.
3. We fax all required paperwork to your bank including vehicle, purchase and title information.
4. Your bank sends certified funds for the balance due.
5. We send your bank the title to your vehicle.
6. When we receive funds from your bank, we will ready the vehicle for shipping and arrange pick-up.
7. We send you all required paperwork with an explanation of how to complete the paperwork and return.  This paperwork must be returned to us ASAP.
8. Vehicle will arrive at your destination.
9. Transaction Complete.

What if I want to fly in and pick my vehicle up?

No problem!  If you will call or e-mail us, we will arrange to have your paperwork complete and ready for you to sign and your vehicle ready to go.  We will also arrange for transportation from the Lubbock, TX. airport.

Do you offer any extended warranties?

Yes, we have a wide variety of extended warranty options available.  Please call or e-mail us and we will gladly assist you with the selection of an extended warranty program.

How do you ensure the cars are mechanically sound before you sell them?

The vehicles we sell are professionally cleaned and inspected prior to being listed for sale.  Any malfunctions or irregularities discovered during the inspection process will be addressed prior to listing.  If we elect not to repair the vehicle, that information will be fully disclosed to you before the transaction is completed.  All vehicles are sold AS-IS with no implied or expressed warranty from Plains Choice Auto Group, LLC.

How do I know the car is in the condition stated?

At Plains Choice Auto Group, we are in the business of ensuring the satisfaction of customers that buy cars from us.  If we sold vehicles that were misrepresented, we would not be in business for long.  In addition, we FULLY disclose any malfunctions or problems we find and elect not to repair.  We extensively research our vehicles to ensure clear title and history.  If you agree to purchase a vehicle from us and it is not in the condition we represent, we will completely release you from any liability, refund the money you have spent and take the car back.

Do you take trades?

Yes, we accept trades.  The trade vehicle must be in the condition stated and meet certain other criteria, as well.  Please call, e-mail or click here to have your trade evaluated.  Once we evaluate the vehicle per our regulations, we will offer a bid for your vehicle.
